This popular and exciting course is enjoyed by those who wish to teach Yoga and also by those who wish to explore yoga in greater depth for their own benefit.

Here is a selection of some of the topics studied over the 18 months.

-Asanas – teaching them safely and creatively.

-Balancing the chakras.

-Awakening the spine through breathing and movement.

-Moving into stillness to discover peace and calm.

-Using meditation techniques to overcome stress.

-Empowering language – positive thinking.

-Deep relaxation – yoga nidra.

PERSONAL LEVEL: This course gives you the opportunity to deepen your own practice and understanding of yoga. In a safe friendly environment you will enjoy improving your structural fitness. You will discover how the art of thinking calmly helps you take control of your life. Yoga is a therapy and it enables you to move into a joyous space. You experience the truth and loveliness of yourself and you radiate this energy into the world.

DECIDING TO TEACH YOGA: By the end of the course you will be fully prepared to share your joy of yoga with others. You will attract people who are right for you. Maybe you will wish to specialise and teach in a hospital, for the Parkinsons or M.S. Society or in a gym. Or perhaps you will wish to start with a small group of friends and build up gradually. Either way there is a big demand for Yoga Teachers so if you wish to teach then opportunities will certainly come your way. You can only pass on to others what you have experienced yourself so this course is designed to deepen that experience. At the end of the course you will confidently assist others as they move towards radiant health.

This Diploma is Coursework based to allow you to also pack your folder with lots of good ideas for future teaching or just for yourself to enjoy. Finally, there is a one hour practical exam.
